Winter Washcloth Patterns

 Winter Washcloths
Today I have a collection of winter themed picture cloth patterns for you. These were written to use with the new CinDwood looms in the fine 3/8 and 1/4 inch gauges, but they will also work very nicely with any 3/8 inch small gauge loom, or the smaller sized Kiss looms.
Included in the collection are four fully written out patterns.
I am also trying out some charts this time, using color blocks instead of symbols. I think that many of you who cannot read a chart with symbols might find the color blocks easier to use. The key for the blocks is written for loom knitters, so it is "loom friendly" as well. You can also use the color block charts to try the patterns in two colors.
The four patterns are from top left: Wreath, Candy Cane, Cocoa and Gift.

October Patterns and Loom News

Introducing Triple Z - Z hat, Z cowl & Z ears. One pattern you may wear three ways. Well, actually four, because the hat may be worn as a beanie or slouchy hat. The pattern is written for four gauges: 1/2, 3/8, 3/8 fine and 1/4 fine.
Triple Z  $4.50 US

Don't miss out on the new PINK pegs from CinDwood Crafts looms. Purchases during October will benefit breast cancer research. This is a great opportunity to get a beautiful loom and support a wonderful cause. Plus, CinDwood is introducing two new gauges. One is a 1/4 inch fine gauge round sock loom with 56 pegs. The other is a 3/8 fine gauge sock loom with 40 pegs. This second gauge is brand new and not made by any other loom manufacturer. I've been trying it out, and I just love it. If you buy any of my patterns through CinDwood Crafts, 15 percent of the price will also be donated to breast cancer research.

A big celebration, giveaway and new pattern!

Celebration time!
I am celebrating the 18th birthday of my daughter, who you all know as my model. She began modeling for me six years ago with my very first pattern submitted to a Markman Farms loom contest. In honor of this very special birthday and as a big thank you to all of you for supporting me over the past six years, all patterns purchases during the next month will be entered into a prize drawing.
The prizes are:
1. A 66 peg CinDwood loom with color pegs of your choice (you can see in the photo that kitty favors the red pegs)
2. A Kiss Dragon loom  - this is the brand new Kiss large gauge adjustable loom with 42 pegs.
3. A Land's End Medium zip top tote bag - my favorite project bag, choice of color
4. A "My Loom Stuff" tote bag from Cafe' Press
5. A $20 Knit Pick's gift certificate
6. A $20 Invisible Loom gift certificate

The drawing will take place on September 16th. Purchases through September 15th are eligible for the drawing. One entry per person.

I'm also pleased to share a new pattern with you, "Sunlight Cowl".   $4.50 US

Add a little bit of lace to a little bit of cabling and you have a beautiful cowl. This is a perfect pattern for variegated and solid yarns. It has a sophisticated look that makes it the great fall accessory and a lovely holiday gift. A variety of looms may be used, and beads may be added for a little something extra.
Blocked size:
3/8 gauge 82 pegs: 21 inches around by 13 inches tall
½ gauge 90 pegs: 28 inches around by 15 inches tall
5/8 gauge 100 pegs: 30 inches around by 16 inches tall

Looms:
3/8 inch gauge, 82 pegs in the round
½ inch gauge, 90 pegs in the round
5/8 inch gauge, 100 pegs in the round
The pattern includes a chart with additional loom configurations that may be used. Looms with a peg multiple of 9, or 9 plus 1, will work with the pattern.

Thank you all, and please celebrate with me!
