I love reading your blog! You always inspire me to get back to my looms and create more items for others :) I am thankful that you mention the yarn that you use, as I have found that yarn makes a HUGE difference in what is being created, along with gauge! Gosh Renee these really do just get better and better, love love love the stitching in the top and bottom photographs, they are all truly stunning but I love these two the best. The bottom one has me mega intrigued I have to say.

On my looms, the two blue 24 peg round knifty knitters, now that my husband found the large box packed up from the house move with the rest of my looms inside it I suddenly wanted to use them so cast on a pair of mittens using these two, a shawl from one of your patterns on the 59 peg cindwood crafts using my own latest handspun yarns, another tamberet from my own design on the 51 peg and on the large 120 peg round I have a bottom up shawl type wrap more like a scarf as its quite thin but the shape is owing to a shawl.

Aside from that I am concentrating on becoming physically strong, resting when needed which is very often, waking hours are taken up by my beautiful children and so knitting time has been limited but I dont mind, after the Super Mario Afghan I kind of am enjoying slower projects. Not used to having so many on the go at once though but its kind of fun I guess.

Also been putting in practice with that cables idea using the martha stewart loom, its fun, fiddly and at times frustrating but getting there developing the technique enough to write it up so we can both try and use it :)

The Boye looms are horrid. The peg tops are like crochet needles so unless you are using very bulky yarn you are constantly fighting to get the yarn out of the notch. I don't mind the pegs being loose... a little piece of yarn or paper and they are fine. It's that stupid notch that's the problem.

I love tea pots & tea cups, I have several in my collection. I seen your photo's of the tea places & they look like a place I would pay a visit to. I did that when I was with my friend in Florida she took me to such a cute place that I never forgot it. Personally I think the way you've done this one is genius Renee, its so well put together and designed, I am almost finished with the handspun yarn which should be done by the end of the year LOL then I shall use it to make this beautiful shawl for myself. I dont usually wear shawls but this one looks like it would suit me very well, its not fussy and flouncy, just simple and elegant with a beautiful shape and drape. I am very excited about this one. Anonymous, yes, you knit and purl/purl and knit on the same peg. No wrapping needed because the garter stitch fabric will take up the openings. If you are using a large gauge loom, such as the Knifty Knitters, it is a good idea to use the traditional knit stitch instead of the ewrap knit stitch, to help make up for the gauge difference.
